Transitions

Eyeline Transition                     My subject, Yulian, is looking at someone. The camera turns to see who he is looking at. Filming this was silly as Yulian and Pedro, who are in my video, laughed a lot while filming! 𖹭 Classmate Critique Camera Shots! 𖹭

I reviewed two of my classmate's camera shots from the previous week. Overall, they were well put together and the purpose they served to evoke emotion was executed correctly.      First, I reviewed my classmate, Tatiana Byczkowski. Her camera shot, which was my favorite, was the POV shot! I was watching the point of view of Tati waking up through her eyes. The camera shot evoked an emotion of vulnerability as the shot was of Tati waking up which gave a vulnerable mood, it also allowed me to connect with Tati as I saw the story progressing through her eyes. As for the establishing shot, it took place on the stairs which gave a high viewpoint of the garden and outside of the school, it set up the scene perfectly. It evoked a mood of curiosity as I was curious about what was to come next after the scene setting and time were established.      The next classmate I reviewed was Thomson Tang. Camera Shots!

⋆˙✮Establishing Shot✮⋆˙ This shot is an establishing shot. It is in a beginning of a scene to set the mood and to introduce the location and time of the scene. In this scene, its day and it takes place outside of the school. °‧⋆.Extreme Close-Up࿔*: This is a extreme close-up. It focuses on my subject's features close up. It shows extreme detail and intense emotional detail. I tried to focus on his mid face region specifically, on his eyes. -`✮´-Wide Shot-`✮´- This shot is a wide shot. This shot shows the surroundings of the school while also showing the subject in the environment. You can also still see the features of the subject which makes it a wide shot.  ⋆˚✿˖°Close-Up⋆˚✿˖° This camera shot is a close up. The purpose of this close up is to bring focus to the subject's whole face.                                                         ...
