Group Members!



Hey bloggers! Today for my blog I have decided who I will work with for my AICE Media Studies film! drumroll please...... I will be working with Tatiana Byczkowski!! If bloggers you don’t know her, she is my good friend, and we met in Spanish class in 8th grade! We recently got closer because of our common classes from last year. We both suffered math together and now that we have the same Media Studies class we have become great friends.         

Now you might be asking, why did you guys’ group up? Well... Tati is a hilarious and kindhearted person who will add a sense of humor and creativity to the project. We also have a lot of common as we both play club sports afterschool while having to balance our workload as both of us being a scholar athlete. So overall the choice was obvious. I know with Tati; our project will be successful, and this group will be our first steps to success. Now to the filming and editing process, Tati and I will both be filming, and I will be editing. I am more experienced in using CapCut and Premiere Pro. I edit for the Swamp TV and I will be getting my Premiere Pro certification soon!!

            Hi! For an assignment, I did a sound story. A sound story is a film that doesn't use visuals and only sounds. This was a very unique process, and different from anything video-related that I have done. My partner and I split the work evenly and I did the foley and editing it, and I did the script.       For our sound story, it was about a soccer game and the process before the game, like getting out of the car and warming up for the game. During the foley process, I realized how loud and chunky I had to be to get the sounds I needed. I chose to make the sounds as I play travel soccer, and I would be able to make the sounds easier as I am experienced in what goes on during a soccer game and how it would and should sound.      It took a lot of work to get the sounds.
