Wishlist

 Hey Bloggers! Today we are going to talk about my wishlist and my dreams about if I created my movie opener with a major movie production budget!!

To start, I would actually hire professional actors and not myself who has no acting experience what’s so ever. It was difficult acting as I would burst out laughing or cringe at myself. After doing my movie opener I really appreciate actors as I could NEVER be one. To continue, I would probably have Pablo Mendez or Marcus Cheeatow edit my film as they are both really good editors with an amazing eye for movies. Pablo is very talented with using Premiere Pro, which I absolutely despise and dislike. Premiere Pro is terrible and CapCut is clearly the better editing software… Anyways, Marcus has a good eye for films and what things in the film are unnecessary or just don’t look right. I asked him for criticism for my film and he helped me a lot. After a lot of fixing and tweaking my film looks so much better. If I had the budget and was a professional I would definitely hire Marcus and Pablo. 

    Next, we have the costumes… I will say my costume was cheap. It was from Shein and I got it during Christmas. But although the shirt was cheap, it was cute and definitely fitted the character and the vibe that Tati and I were going for. Tati’s costume on the other hand.. It was a costume from her cousin’s Halloween costume, although it did the job, the back had no design. If I had the money, I would hire a professional makeup artist, maybe a winner from the show, Face Off, and hire them to do monster makeup for my film. (Yes I love Face Off, a lot of the art looks so realistic it is scary!!) 


This is what I’d like to have! A lot of cameras with a bunch of people on my team with my own set and actors!

            Hi! For an assignment, I did a sound story. A sound story is a film that doesn't use visuals and only sounds. This was a very unique process, and different from anything video-related that I have done. My partner and I split the work evenly and I did the foley and editing it, and I did the script.       For our sound story, it was about a soccer game and the process before the game, like getting out of the car and warming up for the game. During the foley process, I realized how loud and chunky I had to be to get the sounds I needed. I chose to make the sounds as I play travel soccer, and I would be able to make the sounds easier as I am experienced in what goes on during a soccer game and how it would and should sound.      It took a lot of work to get the sounds.
